There are different types of stress that influence our bodies. Not all stress is bad but it sometimes can be.

Physical Stress

Repetitive motions, postural distortions, and physical traumas like slips and falls are physical stresses. Being born is even a physical stress!

Mental Stress

Depression, frustration, and feeling powerless are common forms of emotional stress.

Chemical Stress

Our environment is constantly attacking us with chemicals in the forms of drugs, preservatives, GMOs, tobacco, alcohol, pollen, and other substances that can affect our bodies.

When stress overloads our body’s ability to adapt to it, vertebral subluxation complexes may occur. Chiropractors find these areas and reduce the irritation to allow you to better adapt to these stressors. Stress cannot be eliminated but we can try to make sure you are ready for it when it occurs.
