First Chiropractic Visit

Ready to begin your journey to better health? Here’s what to expect during your first appointment with us: You will begin your care with a complete history, a spinal and neurological evaluation including a Heart Rate Variability (HRV) scan and full spine x-rays.

STEP 1: New Patient Paperwork

Before your visit, please complete our New Patient Paperwork online. It must be completed before your first visit, only takes 10–15 minutes, and helps us understand any past injuries, conditions, or health concerns that may be contributing to your current state. Need help with the forms? We’re happy to assist—just give us a call!

STEP 2: Welcome Tour

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our team and taken on a quick tour of the office to get you oriented and comfortable. Grab a drink or snack from our refreshment station before we get started!

STEP 3: Consultation & Spinal Evaluation

We’ll sit down to discuss your health history, current concerns, and long-term goals. We will also discuss how the body works and what we can do in our practice to best serve you through our principled approach to Chiropractic care. Then, we’ll begin your Chiropractic evaluation, which includes:

Skin temperature scan with the Nervo-Scope to detect nerve irritation
Static & motion palpation to assess spinal movement, swelling, and tenderness
Postural and gait analysis to identify imbalances

STEP 4: Neurological Assessment (InSight Scan)

Using NASA-published, SPACE-certified technology, we’ll perform a non-invasive scan to measure how your nervous system is functioning. This objective measurement will help us evaluate the location and severity of nerve interference in your body so we can get to the root cause of your health concerns.

STEP 5: Digital Full Spine X-Rays

If indicated, Dr. Mike will take on-site digital X-rays to gather detailed information about your spine’s structure and alignment. These help guide your specific adjustments and ensure we never guess when it comes to your care.

Note: X-rays are not taken on pregnant patients, nursing mothers, or infants.

After your initial visit, we’ll schedule your second visit to go over your results and determine a course of care.
